Works For Me Wednesday

by lora on June 27, 2007

This is my first WFMW post and I wanted to share something that really worked for me when I re-decorated my hall bath last year. We painted the walls a bright yellow to complement a shower curtain I had made out of a vintage looking western material. The material looks like it’s from the 50s with little boys and girls wearing western clothes, riding stick horses and sitting on fences. This seemed like a good theme since we live in Texas. When it came time to find artwork to match the room, I wasn’t quite sure what to do as I didn’t have much money to spend. When I was at the mall I began looking in the Texas Store and was looking at the greeting cards. I noticed that they had some really cute one, and each card only cost about $2. I bought several and then went to Wal-Mart and bought some really inexpensive 5×7 frames, and viola…. I had artwork!

Be sure to visit Rocks in My Dryer to get lots of great ideas.
